Start-up | a random rant

Ji-pyeong is soooooo gonna regret it!!

Ok, done my rant.

Been saying this in my head since petang semalam. He's gonna regret it, he's gonna regret - like thousand times.

Actually aku baru on episod 3, hahhahaha. Start watching it on petang Sunday tapi lepas tengok satu episod, aku stop sebab tengok sambil makan je actually. Then sambung another episode time lunch semalam. Stop half-way sebab aku frustrated.

I really want Dal-mi to end up with Ji-pyeong given the history of their childhood. And him asking real Do-san to be that Nam Do-san is a bad move to me.

Sambung tengok hari ni and here is what I got.

Urghhhhhhh you gonna regret it!!

He doesn't show it, or maybe he didn't even realize it but he cares for her.

That time when he reads the letter right after he saw it in the birdhouse.

And that time when he follows Seo Dal-mi, not knowing she's the same Seo Dal-mi.

Him being so worried proves it all.

How do I explain my point? Hahhaha. Nevermind. The point is, I ship Dalmi-Jipyeong.

Oh!!! and this 👇

The way his hand protecting her head kikikiki. I don't know why, tapi aku flutter every time I see this kind of subtle action.

I don't even know if that is Seon-ho or Ji-pyeong there.. (well, you know, Seon-ho might be a gentleman who did that out of his gentleness like Jisung did. But, if that is Ji-pyeong, then that is something because Ji-pyeong is not gentle, for now.)

Anyway, I think this drama might worth the watch. My heart and emotion bersimpul-simpul since episod 1. Awalnya a bit skeptical nak tengok. First, Suzy and Nam Joo-hyuk is not in my favourite list. Not that I hate them, but they are not my favourite. Second, the trailer doesn't convince me much. And Netflix's synopsis also not really convincing so I just kinda put the series aside.

Luckily, there's Seon-ho who convince me two days ago. Thanks to that smile and dimples hahahaha.

No, it's actually because of the pen-pal thing. And the fact that he's using a real person's name for his fake identity. I'm looking forward to how things going to tangle and entangle.

I'm rooting for Jip-yeong, eventhough he is the second lead...sobbbssss

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Apparently, I’m just too hyped that I need to do this post.

I don’t even know macamana aku boleh contain this excitement since days ago. Maybe because I finished the series today?

But this entry starts because I wanna rant about the OST…hahahaha. First dengar the song few days back. But let's start with the series first alang-alang dah taip entry so that I can tag this under ‘review’ and ‘what to watch’ hahahah….

FMA ni consider one of aku punya top all-time favorite manga. I’ve been reading it for I don’t even keep count how many times. Re-read at least once a year? Last was masa end of 2019.

But, DESPITE FMA BEING ONE OF MY FAVOURITE MANGA EVER, I NEVER WATCHED FMA: BROTHERHOOD 😱

I watched Fullmetal Alchemist, the anime series.

I watched Fullmetal Alchemist, the live action.

So, how come aku tatau the existence of FMA: Brotherhood?

Maybe sebab aku terlalu kecewa ngan the first series and bila tengok live action pon hampeh, I gave up. I don’t know. Lagipon aku memang tend to not watch the anime IF I read the manga because I don’t want to compare.

FMA: Brotherhood is considered accurate compared to the other two *palm-claps and throwing daggers to both.

I can say it’s accurate with the details and the storyline, setakat yang aku ingat – if you know what I mean. Almost all the scenes are identical to FMA’s manga.

The only scene yang aku still takleh accept wasn’t included is this one scene where masa tu Hohenheim was at Trisha’s grave and Ed pon heading there, with his ponytail hair. Well, so does Hohenheim.

And we know how Ed is with his father. Right when Hohenheim tegur dia that they have same hairstyle, Ed ikat ponytail dia jadi braid right away dengan bengangnya…hahahaa..andddddd, Hohenheim comments on how Ed looks exactly like him when he was young. Lol.

This is one of my favorite scenes. I don’t even know why. Maybe it's just fun to see these two bickers hahahaha...But, in Brotherhood, scene ni di adjust sikit. They still had their heated banter but, they removed that ponytail-braids scene.

And, the way the scene was portrayed is kinda heavy and not fun, light like the manga version.

This is how it was in the anime version 👇

And dalam versi anime ni, what he says can be interpreted differently.

Dalam manga, it can be the hairstyle, and it could be perangai hot-headed Ed tu.

Dalam anime, it looks like what he means is solely perangai sembereno Ed tu. Well, I don't know..hahahaha..

But, all in all, I enjoyed the series.

Especially season 5.

Because the series started getting real serious.

Happy ending 😍

And they have one real good OST in season 5 *screamsssssss.

Review: VAGABOND (open spoiler)

Yes, it is about the Korean drama/series. We can call this a review.

Vagabond is a Netflix original series. Awalnya aku a bit contemplated nak follow the series.

1. am not a fan of Seunggi
2. am not a fan of Suzy

No other reasons not to watch other than that though, hahahah. The trailer is tempting, the synopsis is not so bad.

Thinking that Seunggi's acting had been better and better since King 2 Hearts, and Suzy's also are not that bad in While You Were Sleeping and Uncontrollably Fond, I gave Vagabond a chance. Mostly sebab people keep saying the series best gila siap tak sabar tunggu next episode.

I am the type yang tunggu series habis sampai last episode baru start tengok. And the day comes when the series ends. Took my sweet time before start tengok sebab even though aku quite tempted nak tengok, but bukan level tak sabar sesangat so rilek-rilek jek.

When I did start tengok, it was during my LRT-MRT pegi balik time. First couple of episodes, memang layan otw pegi-balik keje jek. Maksimum satu episod sehari jek ye kawan-kawan. Kadang berselang esok lusanya baru sambung tengok. That shows that aku tak attached with the series yet.

Not sure start episod berapa, tapi below 5 la rasanya, aku start getting attached. Bila mana abis jek satu episod, rasa nak terus sambung next episode. Luckily it was cuti weekend bersambung dengan PH on Monday, aku habiskan the whole series in a day plus. Start Ahad malam, and sampai ke Isnin maraton.

And here comes my disappointment. I hate the ending.

Sebelum citer pasal disappointing ending tu, meh kita take a step back dulu sikit. Let me tell you what this series is about.

It is all about Cha Dal Gun (Lee Seunggi) yang give his own self a personal mission - to find the 'killer' of his nephew, the one yang dia jaga dari kecik lagi. Kisahnya, anak buah dia ni took a flight ke Morocco for a team performance. Malangnya, the flight blown up and crashed.

Dal Gun, and family members of other victims dibawak ke Morocco untuk bagi penghormatan terakhir kat mangsa-mangsa ni. And that is when things got complicated (this happens during episod 1 rasanya. Or at most pon episod 2). Kat airport, lepas diorang touchdown, Dal Gun saw someone he shouldn't have.

The day of the crash, anak buah si Dal Gun post a video of him and friends in the airplane. And naturally, people in the background pon was caught in the video jugak. And Dal Gun saw someone who was in the video.

Ye lah, secara logiknya pon, if plane dah crashed, macamana ada orang dari dalam flight tu boleh selamat? And if it's possible pon, why didn't he say anything?

And that is how his personal mission start. He knows something is wrong. Memula for that instance dia kejar mamat yang dia nampak tu.

Kejar punya kejar, desyumm desyummm dush dush lawan-lawan sikit, tapi mamat tu terlepas. Oh btw, antara reason aku tempted nak tengok Vagabond is sebab dia tema action lawan-lawan.

So bila mamat yang dikejar tu dah terlepas, Dal Gun balik jumpa kumpulan family tu balik. Aku lupa kat airport ke hotel. Dia kecoh ada nampak someone yang dalam flight tu kat airport and bising that this must be a terrorist attack. Siap check CCTV bagai ni nak prove dia tak tipu. Malangnya nothing shown dari record CCTV so no one trust him.

The flow of the series is on how Dal Gun try to solve the mystery of the attack, getting one after another people to trust him and be on his side, getting help from left and right, while trying not to die from attacks dari segala sudut. Like seriously, almost setiap episod la dia ni nak kena bunuh. Bak kata abang aku, "Panjang umur sungguh Jong (read: this guy..it's a Terengganu dialect thing, like how english use John for unknown male hahaha) ni, dok mati-mati."

Watch the series for the details gais. Accept for the ending, it is worth the sleepless night. Twist after twist, the betrayal, the lies. Fuh sakit ati akuuuuhhh. Tapi to those yang biasa dengan plot twist, it's not a really a big twist actually. Still expected and not that twisted. Cuma it was well covered.

And now, lets talk bout the ending. There's no ending. There might be season 2.

But, personally, i really hate it when a story ends like this.

This is just as bad as what i feel when i watch the last episode of Scarlet Heart / Moon Lovers. Lagi sakit bila tau supposed ada Season 2 tapi season 2 tak keluar-keluar hmmmmmm....

But all in all, it worth the watch. Don't ask for stars though sebab aku fail rating unless I am very satisfied and I'll give full star hahahahaa.

WePlayGames : one worthy time-waster

You can't be there, and not staying for more than half a day. Hence, the title.

Seriously guys. If you plan to pay a short visit, just for one or two hours maybe, just don't even go...hahahha. You'll definitely 'waste' your whole day there.

Oh!

Hi, by the way. What an intro I got there. So now, for the real intro. Excuse my kinda rude intro earlier.

So, alkisahnya, pagi Sabtu lepas Nee (my best friend. Whoever reads my old blog would know her sebab she always pops here and there in my posts) suddenly text me, giving me her "watchu doing?". Well, you'll know what she's up to when she brings that up so suddenly like that - most of the time. Told her otw pegi opis sebab got things to handle. Her "ooooooo, afterward?" is kinda a giveaway.  Nak ajak keluar lettewwwww.

Sebab aku punya urusan tatau takes how long, so we temporarily settled for 3pm for our meet up. And instead of suggestion awal ke WePlayGames, we decide to pegi Pasar Seni jek since masa terhad. And Nee tak pernah pegi Pasar Seni katanya. To be honest, aku pon tatau pebenda ada kat Pasar Seni tu so boleh la kalau nk try usha.

In the middle of my urusan, aku text Zura ajak pi WePlayGames since Nee ada mention dia ajak Ira jugak masa first mention of WePlayGames awal-awal text paginya tu. (p/s: Ira adik Nee, rakan sebaya and schoolmate Zura adik aku tu). Text Nee back suggest  pegi WePlayGames. Reply kiri kanan Me-Zura, Me-Nee (and Nee-Ira I guess), plus duk settle urusan aku lagi (what a morning fuhhhhhh), finally decide pegi WePlayGames, meet up at LRT Kerinchi and we'll head to Cyber by her car.

Wow intro jek tiga paragraph. Aku kalau dah diberi peluang membebel, memang tak lepas peluang langsung hmmmmm.

Back to WePlayGames.

First of all.

Read here for my first WePlayGames experience.
Here for Nee's blog post of our first WePlayGames visit.
And here for Nee's POV of our visit last Saturday.

A brief introduction to WePlayGames (WPG) in case you are too lazy to click any of the links above, WPG is a boardgame-cafe yang perkenalkan konsep kau main boardgame sambil lepak-lepak makan minum gituh. Brilliant idea I may say (again). Aku memang attracted betul ngan idea bijak ni. Lepas ni dah takyah pening port lepak/outing with besties dah. Pegi jek Tamarind Square, naik level 2. WPG loacated right above BookXcess (the most awesome bookstore brand ever, and branch yang kat TS ni open 24h hokehhhhhh).

Some basic info.

(p/s: we tried Hazelnut Lava Croissant on our first visit, and I don't think I'm gonna repeat that order. BUT, it might be because I'm not a fan of chocolate.)

available desserts on last Saturday.
This was the package that we took on our first visit.

Masa first visit ari tu, we took one dessert and drink for each of us and we got a free game for both of us, to play for an unlimited time.

Now, let me explain this. Sebab adik aku salah paham masa aku explain kat dia hari tu lol.

What it means here is, one meal/dessert + one drink = 1 free game.
Nee bought croissant + hot drink = one free game for her.
I bought cake + cold drink = one free game for me.
BUT, that doesn't necessarily mean two games for both of us.

Sebab, kalau dia amik game A, aku amik game B, and we play both games together, that equal to two games for both of us. Get it? Unless dia main game A alone, aku pon main game B alone, then ye kitorang boleh amik two different games..hahahhaha...

So we settled for a two-players game on our first visit, and play as many rounds as we want.

Back to topik utama which is our visit last Saturday lol. This time kitorang upgrade pakej (and we made a mistake, mehh..)

(photo from says.com via WPG Facebook)

Tanpa segan silu amik pakej unlimited gaming tu. Konon nak main banyak-banyak-banyakkkkkk game. Sudahnya, lebih kurang 5-6 jam kat situ, main dua game jek..hahahaha...

Anddddddd, complimentary drinks tu limited to certain drinks jek. And kitorang tak diberitahu apakah air-air tersebut. So all of us, empat-empat ketul ni amik air yang kena upgrade. Tengok bill masa on the way balik dah, baru perasan. Sila gelak.

Back to our games experience. Our first game was this:

And this is the very reason, the main cause why oh why kitorang sempat main dua game jek. Half of our time there duk mengadap game ni jek. Sesungguhnya aku lupa apa nama dia. And it is soooooo not my kind of game. I don't really enjoy Monopoly, or Saidana kalau versi Malaysianya. Or Jutaria kalau versi murah...hahahhaha..

Konsep game ni lebih kurang macam tu la. Build your roads, settlement, and cities. But instead of money, we are using resources yang kita collect throughout the game by throwing dice. Kat board tu ada base resources, and kita letak nombor kat resources base tu. Nombor yang kita dapat dari dice tadi represent numbers on the board. Owners of roads, settlement or cities yang neighbour dengan number from the dice boleh collect resources tu. Kumpul resources, beli roads and settlements, or upgrade your settlement to cities. Ada few other rules and regulation tapi I won't explain it here. Sila google teeheeee...

the start of the game..masing-masing still try to adapt the RnR
nampak dia punya semangat tu? siap check manual hahahaha..
dan wefie itu perluuu hahahaha
And, here we go. The winner of the game.

Our second game was Coup. I REALLY ENJOY THIS ONE.

Quoting WPG's staff, it's a lying game. And indeed, to play this you need to bluff, a lot. But more important than kena pandai bluff, kena be confident. Tak kesah lah time ko bluff or time ko honest, yang penting confident level kena tinggi melangit. Baru orang tak berani nak tuduh ko bluffing..hahahaha.

muka penipu-penipu berjaya dan tak berjaya di Sabtu yang lalu..hahaha

Basically, for this game, korang akan diberi two cards each, pastu balance kad letak kat tengah. Kad-kad tu adalah characters in Coups. Each character ada kelebihan masing-masing. For example, some characters can kill people, and another character cannot be killed.

And the best part is, you can bluff that you are holding a certain character, even if you don't. Tapi kalau korang dah bluff, pastu your attacker tak percaya, they can request you to prove yourself. If you ARE bluffing, you lose a character. If you do have the character, the attacker loses a character. Pastu korang boleh tukar character yang korang dah prove kan tadi tu with a new card from the deck - given that korang prove korang betul la.

I mentioned a character who can kill people earlier. That's an Assassin. But, you still can kill someone even if you are not an Assassin. Just pay for 7 coins, then you can request for an assassination.

Ira boleh dikategorikan sebagai bluffer paling berjaya. Muka takde perasaan memang level dewa-dewa. Adik aku paling inesen level kejujuran terserlah di wajah. Kakak-kakak ni level banyak makan garam tapi tak nak berlagak...hahahaha.

We played Coup for two or three rounds before kitorang balik sebab it is considered too late. Kalo tak semua tak nak berganjak lagi, nak try game lain pulak...hmmmm.

again, mesyuarat bincang RnR macam bincang strategi nak pegi perang..
tapi sudah pasti visit tersebut tak berakhir dengan Coup jek. Sesi bergambar tak sudah dulu la before balik :p

Jemput la datang ke WePlayGames. They have lots of options for boards game and with variations for numbers of players too. Staf dorang pon sangatlah membantu. If korang newbie macam aku, tak yah termenung depan almari lama-lama macam aku duk baca kotak satu, satu. Just call for their staff and ask for help/suggestion. Pastu kalau takde geng nak ajak pi WPG, boleh ajak aku. Just bare in mind yang aku ni newbie kuasa tujuh tau...hahahha...

Paper Rose

Sesungguhnya, I'm seriously into DIY ideas, tapi to be honest - I'm always fail with arts. Tak cukup kreatif..haha.

But this paper rose is so easy to do sampai Cik Su yang selalu fail dengan art ni pon boleh buat - and it has become one of my favourite.

First time belajar buat dulu just based on youtube video jek. Seriously sangat senang.

So, tanpa berlengah, shall we?

Barang-barang yang nak kena ada:

Kertas
(A4 biasa 70gsm tu dah ok. Tak payah nak susah-susah cari art paper bagai)
Penutup balang
(or mangkuk, or gelas, or anything yang bulat)
Gunting
Gam
(Cik Su guna glue gun sebab itu paling senang)

Step 1
Mula-mula sekali, paling penting nak kena potong kertas A4 tu jadi bulat dulu.

Sehelai A4 boleh dapat 4 keping kertas bulat tu. Macam mana nak gunting Cik Su tak payah la ajar kot, kan? haha...Cik Su lipat 4 kertas tu, tekap bulatan, and gunting jek. Terus dapat 4 keping bulatan sekali gunting.

Step 2
Now, untuk jadikan 'kelopak' ros kita. Most important step. Gunting kertas bulat tadi ikot bulatan dia tu and buat spiral. Cik Su pon tak tahu macam mana nak phrase kan step ni actually. Sila refer gambar di bawah. #biargambarberbicara

By the way, why Cik Su kata ini adalah step paling penting? Sebab saiz, bilangan, jarak lilitan(?) spiral tu akan effect kelopak ros kita nanti actually. But not really a big issue pon sebenarnya. Saje Cik Su buat gempak. There will be differences, tapi doesn't really matter.

Contohnya,

1. Width between each layer akan effect tinggi kelopak. Based on dua spiral dalam gambar kat atas ni, yang biru tu kelopak dia akan jadi tinggi, and yang oren kelopak dia akan jadi rendah.

2. Bilangan lingkaran - akan effect saiz dan 'kepadatan' kelopak.

Tapi sebenarnya, saiz dan rupa ros kita tu nanti bukan effected by macam mana kita gunting spiral ni semata-mata. Contohnya, cara kita gulung (step 3) pon boleh effect - gulung rapat or gulung loose. Macam gambar kat atas, yang pink Cik Su gulung padat-padat, rapat. Anak buah pulak gulung yang purple to a bit loose.

Dan sesungguhnya, setiap kali buat, Cik Su memang gunting spiral tu randomly jek. Tujuan Cik Su bagitau just for additional info semata-mata.

Step 3
The photo said it all..haha. Click the photo to enlarge.

Why Cik Su pegang gulungan tu atas bawah? Sebab actually Cik Su nak bagi sama bahagian bawah/base dia tu sebabnya nanti senang nak gam.

Step 4
Follow step ni kalau nak bunga kembang. Kalau tak, tak payah. Kalau nak yang tak bape kembang ala-ala ros yang baru keluar kuncup and baru nak start mengembang tu, lepas no.6 dalam step 3, boleh terus gam.

Step 5
And lastly, gam.

Letak gam, and tekan-tekan sikit, softly, bagi lekat. Sure dah lekat, boleh lepas.

DONE

And to summarize the whole post:

And this is what i used the roses for:

Sori, gambar sebelum takde. Tapi cermin ni dah lama, so rupa dia pon memang dah tak semenggah mana. So decide nak decorate sikit pakai paper roses ni. Plus, boleh jadi pewangi kat kedai jugak. Pagi-pagi, sampai kedai, Cik Su spray dulu bunga-bunga tu dengan fragrance oil yang dah dicampur air sikit (kedekut/jimat..hahaha).

It is a fun craft that you can do with your girls.

Anak buah Cik Su (8yo) is not confident enough lagi nak cut spiral by herself (sebab tak jadi spiral), so at first I cut the spiral for her. After some times, I draw the spiral on kertas bulat tu, then dia potong sendiri. She had fun. I believe your kid(s) will too :)

Aiskrim Sumi

Nota resepi Cik Su:

Bahan-bahan screenshot resepi asal jumpa kat Google.
(i'm so sorry that i don't have the original link)

Cara penyediaan tu dah diolah kepada bahasa mudah paham Cik Su.
But, to be honest, sesungguhnya Cik Su masak ikot base aiskrim choki-choki ni je.

Anyway, back to aiskrim sumi. Bahan-bahannya:

BAHAN A
Sumi - 1 atau 2 paket. Kalau nak letak ala-ala janji ada je, sepeket dah cukup. Tapi kalau nak meriah sumi dalam aiskrim tu, dua paket baru best.

BAHAN B
Susu pekat - satu tin (any brand)
Susu cair / sejat - satu tin (pon any brand jugak)
Air kosong - 4 tin (sukat guna tin susu sejat/pekat tadi)
Garam - secukup rasa
Tepung jagung - 2 sudu setengah (resepi asal tak payah letak, but i did)

Dinasihatkan korang pakai sumi yang jenis warna meriah macam ni.
Bagi cantik efek warna aiskrim korang nanti.

Susu pekat dan susu cair brand sesuka hati.
Yang penting, tin kecik. Jangan pakai tin besar pulak. Kencing manis pulak kang.

STEPS:

Penyediaan adunan susu untuk base aiskrim (Cik Su tak ikot nota notepad Cik Su):

1. Masukkan bahan cecair (susu pekat, susu cair, air kosong) dalam periuk.
2. Panaskan periuk dengan api sederhana.

Potong sumi. Terpulang nak potong macamana.
Nak potong dadu boleh. Nak potong panjang-panjang pon boleh.
Cik Su sarankan, sebiji sumi tu belah empat (memanjang).
Sebabnya? Bila potong dadu, dia jadi kecik-kecik - nanti bila letak dalam peti ais, semua potongan kecik tu berkumpul satu tempat. Bila belah empat tu, saiz dia besar-besar, jadinya 'pergerakan' sumi tu terhalang sikit.

Masukkan dalam plastik. Ni suruh anak-anak.
Suka la dorang boleh buat kerja 'main-main' macam ni.

2. Masukkan susu yang dah sejuk, kemudian ikat dan bekukan.

Done. Dah boleh masuk peti ais and bekukan.
Yang ni hasil potongan dadu. Nampak tak apa yang Cik Su maksudkan tadi? Hahaha.
Lepas-lepas tu, buat potong belah empat tu. Better. Tapi takde gambar.

That's all. Senang je sebenarnya. Selamat beraiskrim :)

Aiskrim Choki-choki

Nota resepi Cik Su (hahaha):

BAHAN-BAHAN:

BAHAN A
Choki-choki - suka hati banyak mana. Kalau korang potong 3 each choki-choki, maybe boleh guna dalam 8-10 batang. Kalau potong 2 je, sila tambah lagi choki-choki tu.

BAHAN B
Susu sejat / cair (evaporate milk / creamer) - 1 tin, apa-apa brand pon boleh. Cik Su pernah pakai Gold Coin, F&N, Marigold. Rasanya sama lebih kurang, takde beza pon. So jangan pening-pening brand apa nak kena beli.
Susu pekat - 1 tin, tak kisah ape brand jugak. Pekat manis biasa ke, teh tarik ke, belasah jek.
Air - 4 tin. Plain water. Ukur pakai tin susu yang korang guna tadi.
Tepung jagung - 2 sudu setengah. Ni bukan bahan wajib. Kalau takde pon takpe. Tapi Cik Su tak pernah tak letak..hahaha
Garam - resepi cakap secubit, secukup rasa. Cik Su letak dalam setengah sudu kecik.

Cik Su memang beli sekotak terus stock kat rumah :D

Seriously, brand ape pon tak kesah.

STEPS:

Penyediaan adunan susu untuk base aiskrim.

Sesungguhnya nak prepare base aiskrim ni senang yang amat.

1. Masukkan susu sejat + susu pekat + air dalam satu periuk.
2. Panaskan periuk atas dapur dengan api sederhana.
3. Bila campuran susu dah panas sikit, masukkan tepung jagung (nak senang bancuh dengan air sikit siap-siap, supaya tak berketul.)
4. Masukkan garam.
5. Masak sampai mendidih. Keep kacau sepanjang masa.
6. Tutup api bila susu dah mendidih. Teruskan kacau kejap. Lepas tu dah boleh angkat dan sejukkan.

Masak semua bahan B dalam satu periuk and sejukkan. Done :)

Salutan choki-choki dalam plastik aiskrim.

Ni part yang pada Cik Su, leceh sikit. Sebab kerja dia renyah sikit..haha

1. Potong choki-choki kepada beberapa bahagian (2, 3, 4, sukati korang).

2. Masukkan choki-choki dalam plastik aiskrim.

3. Lenyekkan (is this the right term? hahaha) choki-choki pakai roller pin (or gelas, or botol sos, botol mayonis - apa-apa pon boleh)

Cik Su picit-picit bagi pecah-pecah macam ni dulu then baru lenyekkan.

(pakai chopstick)

(pakai botol mayonis XD)

4. Tarik opposite sides of plastik aiskrim, splitkan bagi effect comot choki-choki tu.

5. Plastik aiskrim dah ready untuk diisi dengan adunan susu yang dah sejuk.

Notes:

1. Ada yang pernah tanya Cik Su - nak masak susu dulu, or prepare choki-choki dulu?
Jawapannya, terserah. Mana-mana dulu pon boleh. Tapi Cik Su biasanya potong choki-choki dulu. Lepas tu  masak susu. Sementara tunggu susu masak / mendidih, sambil-sambil tu Cik Su multi-tasking. Alternate between kacau susu dengan isi choki-choki dalam plastik. Sementara tunggu susu sejuk, Cik Su gelek botol mayonis..haha

2. Sepanjang duk masak susu, memang nak kena kacau sepanjang masa, non-stop ke?
Well, kalau korang baca nota no.1, jawapan dah ada kat situ. And kalau yang biasa masak susu atau santan mesti tau, kalau tinggal santan or susu tak kacau, takut nanti jadi 'pecah' (tatau la apa terms betul dia). So sebab tu dipesan sentiasa kacau kot. But since Cik Su masak api sederhana jek, and tinggal kejap-kejap jek, tak jadi masalah lagi pada Cik Su buat masa ni. Kalau rasa macam tak confident, jangan tiru gaya aci redah Cik Su.

3. Make sure adunan susu dah sejuk before korang masukkan dalam plastik. Kalau tak betul-betul sejuk pon, at least suam-suam kuku dah okey. Kenapa? Sebab, 1. Takut plastik aiskrim tak tahan dengan panas susu. 2. Bila korang masukkan susu yang belum sejuk, choki-choki start melting once dah masukkan susu tu. By the time nak tunggu dia keras dalam peti ais, aiskrim korang dah jadi aiskrim chocolate milk.

4. Tips nak senang keluarkan choki-choki dari plastik.
Biasanya, lepas potong choki-choki, Cik Su picit-picit sikit choki-choki tu, softly. Bagi dia tak melekat sangat dengan plastik dia. Lepas tu Cik Su amik chopstik, and tolak choki-choki tu keluar pakai bontot chopstik.

And, disebabkan Cik Su malas nak buat satu-satu, biasanya Cik Su buat one bunch terus. I mean, instead of, keluarkan choki-choki 1, masukkan dalam plastik aiskrim, roll-on choki-choki, pastu ulang lagi keluarkan choki-choki, masuk dalam plastik, and go on, and go on, Cik Su buat one bunch terus for each step.

Contohnya, satu adunan ni boleh dapat dalam lebih kurang 30 batang aiskrim (bergantung pada saiz aiskrim korang buat).

So, Cik Su potong siap-siap 10 batang choki-choki. So, I get 30 small pieces of choki-choki.
Lepas tu, Cik Su keluarkan 30 pieces choki-choki tu dari plastik dia. Put them in one bowl.
Then, baru Cik Su masukkan satu-satu choki-choki tu dalam plastik aiskrim.
And lastly, baru roll on all of them. Pastu dah siap roll semua sekali, baru tarik, splitkan satu-satu.

Sounds like lagi leceh? Hahaha. Buat la ikot keselesaan masing-masing.

So, thats how  Cik Su buat askrim choki-choki.

Actually, aiskrim oreo, nutella, and sumi pon pretty much lebih kurang jek dengan aiskrim choki-choki ni. Base dia sama. Korang just tukar 'filling'  jek *wink.
